Late freedom fighter Hero honorable Dada Undarkar Patil started a secondary school in 1955 at Undale In 1966 late Dinkarao Patil son of Dada undarkar former district officer and Late MLA Vilasraoji Patil Undarkar (Kaka) established Rural Development Education institute in 1966 with the aim of education should reach the common people from the grassroots of the society.

The institute of Rural Development Education was established in 1966 with the Moto ‘Nahi Dnyanen Sadrishyam Pavitra Mih vidyatee’ Organisation functioning till date with the aim of important knowledge to the marginal sections of the ruler and hilly areas and established the legency of democracy in the rural areas Founder of the Organisation honorable late Mr Vilasrao Patil of cooperation and chairman of the Organisation honorable Mr Jaisingrao (Bapu) Patil all round development of the Organisation with tireless hard work and efficiency place and important role in the social corporation education literature culture and economic development of karad area.

Today this educational institutes has 13 High schools 2 junior colleges, 1 hostel school, 1 D.Ed. college and 1 B.Ed. college, 1 senior college, and 1 English medium school and 1 Pri. Primary & Primary School more than 5000 students are studying in all these branches today. The darkness of ignorance is really disappearing from these area a student studying from all these cultural centres is helping to build a civilize the society and nation Today this organisation is seen to be ful feeling the dream of the late freedom fighter Dada Undalkar to create a man with sense of duty.
